Harvest Tradition -Taos Pueblo

This painting was created in a good friends studio(Mary Dolph Wood)and was of a very close friend from Taos Pueblo. Her Grandfather being a Medicine Man from Taos Pueblo. When she dressed in this regalia it just reminded me of Nicolia Fechin and his time here in Taos. I painted it in that spirit and I hope the passion that he embodied as an artist.
